Here is a picture of the large coho that Brad caught last Saturday, and a twin to the Steelhead that I caught a few casts after the first.

All three fish were taken in a 50 foot stretch of river in about 20 minutes.

Steelhead were taken on eggs, the silver was taken on a Vibrax.

Bardo isn't kidding about the water action. He has pontoons for the copter. Think of it as a Cataraft, with LOTS of power. wink

Is that a robinson? A friend of mine and a great pilot was killed in a robinson last spring, so I don't think I could ever get in one again. But the helicopter is definately the way to go, man you can get to some great water that way.
Shoot me an e-mail you might know anopther pilot friend of mine.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

It's a Hughes 300. And yes, you can get into places that NOBODY else is going to get. Can't you, Brad? laugh

If I am right I have seen that bird up in the canyon on the skoke r.??If it was it scared the hell out of me.It was a few years back.I used to have a secret camp up there.I figured that bird was the state and bolted to hide, and broke the last lami I ever bought.Wasn,t doing anything wrong just didn,t want to give anybody an exuse to ruin my solitude. The bird I saw was black and white and small,if thats you what a small world!

FH5,

No, the "head"gear was not present, thankfully. I don't think it would have fit in the cockpit. eek eek eek

Andy, that is one UGLY pig. Those kind of fish scare me. That's why I stick to catching those cute, cuddly little steelhead.

Way to go.

I'll give you a call and maybe we can chase some steelhead in a week or two.

Thats too funny.I used to fish up in the bearing sea for a living. After 3-4 months of bobbing around in the ocean I would head straight for the trees. You interupted one of those interludes.I was in the canyon up above the flats, just above the steel bridge.I think I waved to you!I tried to hide, didn't work!that bird makes the country side even smaller.
I found some damn good beaver ponds thanks to a friend with a small plane.Do you charter?
