I've got one. It's green, brand new in the box, never been used. I've tried to find info on this reel, but to no avail. Is anyone familiar with them? Are they a decent reel? Are they worth anything? The writing on the box and all of the instructions are in Swedish if that tells you anything.

According to the 2nd edition of Jellison and Homel's "Antique and Collectible Fishing Reels", dated 1999, the value of a mint 2500C (made in the 1970s) is $85, but my experience is that the current values of reels tend to run 20-50% more than these in today's market.

That's kind of cool, how did you get it? When my grandfather passed away I received a number of old lures, old Heddons, etc. My dad has them stashed someplace around his house. If you are ever up LaConner way, there is a shop there that has lots of antique tackle.

I found two similar reels at this site . One was $200, the other $110. Check the serial number on the reel seat.
