Grabbed the last 3 at Ollie Damons today, and would like to paint 1 for a diver. My question is once painted, where do you run the leader from ? Belly or Back hook area? Is the thin bill the only style available, or just what's left ? Anyone have success with these as a plug ? General diving depth?
O.K. that's enough for now.

Thanks,

Chris cool

I also grabbed two of the Vision Old School Bubblegum worm set ups, can't wait to get those thing wet.

I like these as divers. They'll go down abou 8 feet easily.

Most people remove the belly hook and tie the diver leader to that. I rig the entire plug onto a 6 inch leader that hangs from a slider. Then the plug is entirely ready for action. I catch about two fish a season on the plug, rather than the bait.

I particularly like the metallic green plugs.

Used these today for the first time. Paint them black and run the leader from the back-AWESOME! Hooked 6 and landed 4, biggest was 32 1/2 inches and chrome as a bumper. Am now a fan of the hot-n-tot. Gonna try again tomorrow. Good luck.
