For those of you who havent heard, I got a letter from DSL this week that says that the study is done and very soon they will recommend that the State of Oregon re-claim title to all land below the mean high water mark from river mile 0.0 to 37.5. Major success here for all river users.

A little background for those of you up north.. A few years agoe the Sandy chapter of the NW Steelheaders reauested the study be done. It has taken years and many public meetings.

Thats great news, My hats off to Northwest Steelheaders for thewir hard work on this issue.
It's funny that with the Federal Test of Navagitability being as simple as it is that this process should be able to take so long or require any public imput.
