Several years ago I was at buying show in Oregon and got to spend so time with Buzz Ramsey. He told me in Oregon some white guys put nets in some of the rivers for the purpose of getting a ticket, which they did, and turned around and sued the Govt for discrimination and won. Any truth to this? He also told me they (sport fishing groups) targeted certain species of fish to put on the endangered list which closed the river to netting, is this possiable? The info you gave in my thread "50/50 split" and the E-Mail I got from SalmoG answered alot of my questions, except why do they get to keep the fall kings and we can't in the Nooksack? I was told the game dept. wanted to wipe out this run. This year we had to release un-clipped coho and they didn't. It just seems to me we are getting the short end of the deal? G', I haven't heard about a case like that. If it happened I would think it would have become a publicized precedent. Let us know if you find out more. That would be interesting, and I've got some netting to do. jk ;\)
