I called Luhr Jensen today and found out that they discontinued the birdie drifters!!! I have seen similar makes but none in the rainbow color I like. I believe Mack's Lures used to make something similar and also saw some "spin drifters" at Fisherman's recently but did not see any rainbow colored ones. Does anyone know where I can order any of these other brands of birdie drifters in any size of rainbow color?

Thanks

Several years ago the molds wore out and it was decided that it was to expensive to replace. I might be the reason there are no more around. sorry. frown

The Barrier Dam tackel shop on the Cowlitz river still has a good selection of birdie drifters in bulk and prepacks. They still have Okie drifters, which are also no longer made.

Glo-Glo's... Best damn drift bobber ever made (for cold water conditions), at least in my opinion. Anyone that has any, and is willing to sell a few, I will pay a good money for 'em.

The Glo go was before mytime,I have several old STS magazines that used to run advertisements for these. Well I bought an old box full of plugs from a retired fisherman. There were some of these
Go Glos inthat box so when fishing was slow I put one that was red and white on. It was impressive.
So now I too am on the hunt for these.
I have a feeling that us younger folk were cheated out of some pretty special stuff. aka Pentac,Glo Gos Okies. I guess I had better stock up on Birdies they are sadly next to go.

Thanks

I hust stocked up on a bunch of Rainbow Birdies.
I also know where there are a couple 55 gallon drums full of un-painted Glo-Go bodies in all 3 size they made. The guy who has them wont give em up.
I also found quite a few old hard plastic Oakies last week. None of them were the nail polish pink or sunrise. They were all white and pink. Next time Im at that store Im going to buy all that they have.

I like the spin glows, they work great you can cut a little of the wings off and they will have less drag. A little flash helps at times or go with the dull colors.
