My Bad, I am not angry at all, and I was only responding to the continued shots at my writing skills, and the lack of Fact finding I did when I posted Quote I am not saying tony is a snagger, just that the wound looks suspect???? Is that really that bad? Derserving of character bashing, education bashing, motive bashing, suttle threats, remarks of my financial status, etc, etc, etc, Man If you guys and GAL hows Roger???oops Knew how laid back I am and how mellow, respecful, and most notably Die Hard Freaking junkie 12 stepfishing flunkie that i am you would not be reading this right now. I have read endless shots back and forth about sexual habits, Heck this board is famous for it. And cowlitz, seatlleguy, skyw, I apologize no harm intended. But can you say that it is not a common site to see proffessional oops guides, commercial fisherman, tackle store owners WDFW managers, and many others bashed all the time. Is a tribal fisherman not a proff in his field???? Come on guys think about the double standard here. I am serious about a manual for new guys like me. I mean a spelling test, a list of who you can joke with and who not. And about me having to gain respect before i am a worthy member is not a rule I was told about. I am dead serious how is a new poster required to conduct himself when first joining up??? If you change the name from DAN S to fishnjunke, and the name TONY D changed to KSR, and the posters name to Parker would we be here right now or woud we be on the parker bandwagon??? Again have a great day, and no harm intended. Just A thought?

If you have something to say, post it. If someone likes or doesn't like it,they will probably tell you. If you post something that may potentially be controversial you should be able to read opposing opinions and get on with it. The old saying "If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen" might apply. These are only words written here. If you don't like the responses or how people react to you, there are other boards to try. Joining in here is something like appearing on the bank among a dozen fishers who are close friends. You probably won't get a kings welcome from everyone. Depending on what you contribute, future visits will most likely lead to the display of different attitudes. Just my opinion though.

One piece of friendly advice would be to use paragraphs. The separation of different statements would make your posts more readable. Lack of structure is as annoying as someone posting in ALL CAPS.
So, did ya go fishin' today? Took the boy for a trip to the 'nooch. Clear water, saw some fish, didn't catch one.

I think that if you use the same demeanor that you use in the real world you will be ok.
Anonymity shouldn't result in things being said that would not be said to someones face. Some things should never be said to a computer screen.
If you prepare a post and then realize you would not say this to a stranger's face because it would reflect really poorly on you, then don't post it.
My .02,anyway.

He shoots, he scores! That goes for spelling and grammar comments, jokes about one's sexual preference (or in some instances, one's preference for certain fluffy cloven hoofed animal types ), and hammering on someone's lack of fishing or rowing prowess. Some of these guys have actually spent time fishing together so it's not surprising they make wisecracks about each other. I'm sure they do it in person too. When your new to a board it's best to get a good feel for the dynamics of the group before you go calling somebody a shower buddy. :p This isn't the primer fnj is looking for, but it's pretty representative look at the bb populace, and applies in some degree to every board I've ever frequented. I don't think anyone will see themselves here, but we'll all see someone we know on this list! http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame1.html

Thanks for the tips, I will use them in my continued journey, of this internet madness, cyberhell,E-world I am growing to hate at a fast pace. It semms the world i live in does not really apply to alot of the things I have come up against on this board. I keep seeing this Anonymity, hide behind the screen comments, however no one has taken the time to ask me about my real name or location.I can tell you that i am a person who will back up any thing I have to say and if that ends up resulting in a negative outcome for me so be it. I am 35 years old and choose not to participate in a hide and go seek game. No time for childs play. I fish to much for that stuff Actualy packing up tonight for a little trip. I was brought up with a few of those old sayings as a guide to how to live my life on a daily basis. #1- Do un to others #2- No double standards #3- Respect is gained by standing your ground when adversity stands in front of you. You may fall to the ground a beaten man, but will rise to your feet a man of respect. Bruises will go away, disrespect will bring you more bruises, and demand adversity. #4- Teach a man to fish, and his credit card will catch on fire from abuse As he walks thru the door of Gods house OUTDOOR EMPORIUM... Bottom Line If you choose to take shots at me I am coming back with a fury. If you exploit your tenure on this board as a means to step beyond whats percieved acceptable response to a bashing and get away with it because of who you are , then thats a double standard and all bets are off. If you feel like you need to show your manhood for a comment that was made on this board then you should click on to the childs trout pond web site. If you want to know who I am and feel the need to pay a visit Just ask and I have no problem with that If you guys dont see the group pile on mentality, thats a very common site on this board. Then your blinded by the shine of your new calcutta. You guys are a tight group and hey thats cool i respect that. But does it not seem a little strange that whn a poster like me for example comes out with a post that relates to the group thing that in an instance people pop out and confirm their perception of that same thing. my post resulted in a 95% response agreeing with that, and not one of the regulars even mentioned that this may be a problem. the only responses from you guys were more shots... I will leave you alone for I have won my personal side bet with one of your brethren. A few of you guys who bashed me now me and know that this is the real me, and you know that the truth has been spoken .......Good Fishing Fellas..

Hey Posh, you think this guy is in diguise? If you haven't noticed, the majority of members here are "in disguise". No one wishes more than me that real names had to be used on these fishing BBs! ... However, if you are interested in who this person is, he posted his e-mail and invited anyone to ask. That takes some courage, given his flambouyant entry onto this scene, ay? ... And unlike most others, you can likely have Bob look at F'junk's ISP numbers to see if he/she is already a member with another moniker. Let us know what you find out. Thanks.

Nah, too many similarities. I bet it's the like posh II says, maybe a disguise or a wolf in sheep clothes. I dunno, seems awful easy to change a few things to slip by . Especially if one had the time and energy, perhaps new found time. Just seems I've seen this type of writing before.....

... or in the chest. Dude, follow Timber's friendly suggestion. You're only as good as your last post...lol And what bet did you win? It wasn't with me, was it? Be in the know before you spit propaganda about somebody. When they spit back, it might stain. it'll take no time before you're one of the homies. Look at Dogfish. He thinks he's down, but he still can't hear Jimmy.....

Hey y'all (Mike), You lost me on that last line. I think I'm down??? Does that mean I think I'm cool, or think I'm in trouble, and who's this Jimmy dude? For the record, I'm always in trouble with my wife for something, and am much too geeky to be cool. Just can't shake that nerdiness I picked up in high school. DAMN! I just don't understand kids these days. Andy

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Don't worry about it Andy......the Redneck has a means of verbal communication that not all us civilized folk can understand. I've been trying to help him with his, ahem, "problem" but he obviously needs more work. If I kiss the sky with Jimi, am I down? Or up? Damn redneck..........

Hey Mike, if he could have heard Jimi, do ya think he'd be singin "There must be some kind of way outta here; said the joker to the thief", to himself about now? ...
"There are many among us, that think life is but a joke. ..... Come sit here, drink my wine. ,,,, and dig our Mother Earth". Dylan brought it, Jimi hung it out.
Beware, all along this watchtower!

just dont act like that hedgehog guy, supposedly did...... and not that any of you care but is it just me or did this guy just come off wierd?? I mean "Die Hard Freaking junkie 12 stepfishing flunkie", and bait pitch consultant? does that mean he's got a gallon of palmade in his hair and tries to sell you a "perfectly good" can of used worms? and like someone else said, a main interest is porn? sure it is to all of us to but only the truly "hardcore" will post that, which in my mind might revert back to the salesman mentality, oh well at least he said what was on his mind.....and either way I am just joshin' with yah

Oooops. I just noticed it was D'fish that 'Yall was referring to about 'hearing Jimi' - I thought he was referring to F'junk. Please excuse me Andy; that following 'Jimi' post meant that F'junk might be saying to himself "There must be some kind of way out of here"; in other words, out of his predicament, because of opening a big can of worms and opening his mouth wide. And the next 'Jimi' paragraph was to depict a sort-of group response here. And that this group is a pretty effective watchdog (All Along The Watchtower - my fav Jimi recording - excuse; had to explain, dam it). Steve
