Hedgehog, there was an artical in the Nov/Dec issue of STS. As the story goes Bill Herzog hooked into a 52 lb. steely on the Babine and had a LDR. A month later they caught it in a trap with a spoon still in its mouth. I don't know the web site, sorry.

i not neccesarally bustin on bill, he's okay, but I usually see him in a couple spots a year where he shouldnt be, or fishing on fish he shouldnt be fishing on (and he knows it), for example some of the summer chum out on the hood canal streams, those fish are in poor, poor shape, luckily most ppl dont know about them...well what does he do? he goes out there and pounds the [Bleeeeep!] outta them and then writes a article in sts about "How Good the summer chum are doing"....now i read this and i think, hmmm, sounds intelligent.......ACK, HE'S FULL O' [Bleeeeep!]!!, i dont know, he's okay I think he could just use some work, on ethics I mean, i mean hey, at least he's no Andy Scott of "The Reel Deal", which is a fishing show from here in oly.

Hedgehog,
It is unfortunate you can't come here and try and give something to this board rather then show up to bash someone. I don't know how well you know Bill, or if you even know him at all, but I do, and I have seen him pass up fishing on more fish then you ever will. Go back to what ever board you came from and have your pissin' contest there.

Good natured ribbing is allowed. Especially between folks on the board who've interacted before. Please don't trash folks. It isn't welcome here. And if Bill was there, what were YOU doin' there?? Please don't throw stones in glass houses. Adjust you attitude, learn from your elders, and you will be welcome here. Nuff said.

There's this neat little "delete" button in the edit feature that you may want to use.

Looking forward to your next post.

By the way, you never answered my question. Are you Ron Jeremy's double?

My dear friend Hedgehog...

FYI, I have NEVER tageted Canal summer chum. The rivers are too low and the salmon are beat to hell, why would you want to fish over them? The only reason I loved to fish there during the low flows of early fall/late summer was for sea run cutthroat, which you may no longer target. I don't believe I've caught more than a handful of them all by incident with a 3 weight fly rod!

I would normally never respond to statements like these (I get lots of them, kids!)but when someone is just spouting s*it, well...shame on you, pal.

If you truly have a problem with my writing and ethics, you know my personal e-mail and even my phone number. Call me.

Sincerely,
Bill Herzog.

Don't mind this guy, Bill. His excuse for his behavior is here , but you can decide for yourself what really happened.
