Car theft NFR

Hello in the last 6 months we've had one car stolen from our driveway and now last night we caught some people in the act of trying to break into one of our cars.. and I was thinking.. hmm.. the police boot cars so people cant drive them.. and I started to think.. well damn can I buy a car boot!! You know so people cant drive em away..
I was wondering if anyone had any idea where I could buy one and how much they cost?

send those thiefs over to my house. i owe way more than my car is worth. id like them to take my car

All you have to do is remove the wire that connects your coil and distributor cap. Your car will not go any where and it is easy.

My wife's Toyota Camry was stolen yesterday, while she was at work. Broad daylight and a busy school district parking lot were no deterrents to the thieves that took it. Maple Valley police took theft reports on five vehicles yesterday afternoon. That's a freakin' epidemic! I can't really expect the wife to pull the coil wire each time she parks the car, so what's the answer?

You can purchase a wheel boot, and the brake pedal locks at Galls www.galls.com they are suppliers of police and public safety equipment.

Cabelas also sells wheel locks similar to the boot which attach to the tire/rim. They are in the boat trailer section. Another help is the club, but then all the thief does is cut through the steering wheel with a hacksaw. Time is the big deterrent; if it takes extra time to steal the car, they will look for an easier target (so goes the theory).

Got some good news, and some gooder news. The good news, Seattle police recovered the wife's stolen car this afternoon. The gooder news, the three dudes in it were arrested on auto theft charges. The not-so-good news, the car is going to be in the shop for awhile.

Got my fingers crossed that this is the "seven strikes and you're out" offense for some of those arrested.
