I'm a small animal veterinarian in Southwest Portland. I run a clinic with my wife, who's also a vet. If I whine hard enough, she'll cover a shift for me so I can be on the river when the fish are in!

Home office project manager (den bum). I manage personal financial and real estate investments, and write a little bit - all reasons I'm online so much. Additionally, I'm a Wall Street inside trader, hit man for hire, and beg my wife to keep working. (just kidding) ...

Hobbies: my kid's activities, fishing, golf, family travel; and corking doughballs on the river (jk).

Favorite color: green.

I am a Computer Systems Specialist for a 911 Dispatch Center in Pierce County known as "Fire Comm". I am sure jack knows who we are. I manage our G.I.S. Geographic Information System providing map books and Fire District maps to 20+ Fire Districts. My other main emphasis is a Geofile that helps get the Fire District to your house. They call me a computer geek, for some that is easier than explaining what I do. laugh

Hey Tyler,

HELL NO, I don't work for K2, (as they say, f*ck2) they are one of the ones that moved all their stuff to China. They went from a peak of 600 employees on Vachon to 20 now... no wonder the people there are still pissed as DJ said.

K2 owns Ride and Morrow, they are all made in China. So are most of the Burtons. Salomon's boards are made in Tunesia, there are lots of other boards made in eastern Europe, and then a bunch built in government-subsidized factories in Austria

There are only a few US snowboard manufacturers left, and I work for by far the biggest one, Mervin Manufacturing. We make Lib Tech and Gnu snowboards, snowskateboards, composite street skateboards and Bent Metal snowboard bindings.

-N.
