Guys- 3 of us had a great day on the Grande Ronde a couple of days ago smile and as a result I have a large amount of eggs. I have some Rocket Red Procure with borax to cure them in. Is this all I need to cure them? Please share other ideas if you have them. As you can tell I am a newcomer to this stuff. But I am hooked for life!!!

Do a search, there are a number of old threads on this board with all the info you ever want to know on curing eggs.

Thanks DJ!

JSTEEL, if you don't already know, it is important to bleed her right away! A knife puncure to the gills is effective or simply pull a gill. Another thing, as the late hatchery season draws twards an end and your plan is to harvest not only for food but fresh skeins be sure to gently squeeze some belly...spew = by by! Some might argue that you can tell by the amount of color the fish has and most times true but last minute late bright fish have been know to get up...hook up..and get it done...in a hurry!

FJ...out.
