Just curious if any of you have a good wader patch idea for neopreams? I have used the sticky glue stuff but it seems to not be working. I have a leak on a seam and it just keeps leaking mad Lets just say its in a very sensitive spot laugh

you need to find a piece of light wait canvas and some "GOOP" brand marine adheisive, put alayer of glue on let it get tacky then put the canvas on saturate the canvas with the glue let this dry, then apply two more coats on and they will be as good as new.

Get some breathables, all neopremes leak after a while.

FF, Nope mine are remmington brand. Just curious if the shoe go stays flexible? I think that is the reason min keep leaking. When I stretch the seam I think it just tears the goop stuff I am putting on them. how about the canvas tec. does that stay flexible? Thank for the input by the way
Buck :p

I posted the tip with the canvas because my cabela specials had aleak in the on the seam in between the legs I found that the canvas was a bit stiff at first but it loosened up after a few trips, since the repair I've put on quite a few miles jump shootin and fishin.every thing seems to be water tight so far and it was alot cheaper than new waders.

Hey Buck,
You can also use a piece of neopreme, instaed of canvas. I used a section out of an old neo gravel guard. With the neo cement applied to both the waders and the patch, allow to get almost dry and stick'em together! Mine never leaked after that. I only use breathables now but got a leak in the seam in the same place with those too. I used "Aquaseal" on them inside and out, no more leak! cool
