Loc: Tacoma, WA,
I heard a rumor that someone caught a 33 lb Steely on the Nooch Saturday.
Supposedly the fish hit a plug so hard that the plug was inhaled past the gills. What makes this sound like a fish tale is that a WSDFG Agent was there when it happened and let the angler keep the (NATIVE) Steely because the fish was hooked so deep it would not have survived! Just wondering if anyone else heard about this? I call BS!

on the quinalt<<---WHICH BLOWED BY THE WAY!...
anywho there was recently a new record that came into the region 6 wdfw office, a native weighing in at 37.6lbs!! unfortunately the f*cking dumb*ss got the fish from one of the quinalt river nets so it doesnt count laugh oh well...there's gotta be more out there, just gotta put in the time ehh?

I also think it is BS. Sunday was slow and I heard saturday was. I fished it 4 times last week with ok results. A 33lbs is hard to imagine. tight lines. laugh

I fished clients there on saturday and hooked alot of fish, but they could not land to many. But none of the fish we hooked or landed where anywhere near that class of fish. The biggest we had was about 15 lbs or as BK would say Fiffdeen!!

it kinda sounds like a pun on the bicycle moniker, or maybe she just likes bikes.
