This is a good read....long read but good.

The biggest question that I have from is this. How much stress does a fish go through when entangled in a tooth tangle net? How much impact does that stress hormone have on the future of the fish.

I read in a recent Salmon Trout Steelheader magazine with this same issue, and i guess fish don't feel pain. Hope this helps.
