well another day getting up at 3:00 am and driving for 2.5 hours just to catch 1 native 20# king and nothing else at ALL!! all day for all 3 of us on the boat,tryed trolling,tryed tieing up at the weir near tenasillia island and zip,nothing,zilch,..looks like we are going to have to go somewere else like willamet or something,good luck to all of you others.

I went there Saturday and had about the same luck. Two of us in the boat landed 1 8# chromer hatchery steelie and one native king. It was my first time to the lower Columbia so chalk some of my lack of success up to my learning curve. We saw quite a few fish caught and I am convinced I'll do better next time.

Yeah, slim pickens at Cathlamet.... We fished Friday - Sun and brought only 3 fish to the boat. the 2 big 25+- fish had fins

But surprisingly great weather considering the forecasts. We saw the boat that got run over by the barge on Sunday - 1 guy died.....
