I hope to try some of your suggestions soon. Anyone know where I should head to this weekend for a little trial? Is Salmon open anywhere yet? I'd love to hook up a good one....

Salmon is still open in most of the Columbia River tributaries, such as the Cowlitz, Lewis, Wind etc. Steelhead plunking is coming to life on the big river. Are you boating or banking it?
