I'm mounting the axel on top of the springs so it will lower the boat about 4 inches for river bank launches.
Got my Fed Tax back at the duty Free store, cash.
Customs just asked me if it was for personal use, I said yes and they just waved me through.
No duty. No Problems.
When I license it I'll pay $50.00 sales tax. That's alot better than paying $1300.00 for a trailer, plus $140.00 in sales tax.
Mike, there at Road Runner Trailers (1-877-278-3484) said if you call him with your boat sizes and the style of trailer you want and he'll put one together for you before you come up.

gman, are boats cheaper up there also?? im thinking maybe a lund or if anyone knows of a good quality boat, say 16' long im pricing them out.. **berkley boy**

Check this website out for a good priced (US dollars) welded boat from SilverStreak. I have
talked to them about delivery just across the border without GST being added on. There
would be a ferry fee, but even that is reasonable considering the boat cost. This trailer co.
sounds like another great deal with the current exchange rate. Just my 2 cents worth!
