I have picked up an older 17 ft eastside driftboat and am restoring it. It has a plywood bottom which is glassed over and solid fiberglass sides, with teakwood trim. the transom is very narrow, is there any accessory which would allow me to mount a longshaft outbd on that narrow transom. Does anyone have a boat similar to this, would appreciate any info on weaknesses/strengths ect

I have an 18' Eastside. It has a built in motorwell. Great boat, except in the wind.

Eastside = BULLETPROOF!
