I'll be in Ellensburg this week end & want to try the Yakima for salmon. Anyone have any reports?
Is Rosa dam closer to Yakima or Ellensburg? Probably drift eggs or throw spinners. Thanx

Rosa is closer to Yakima. The season has been busted by high dirty water for about the last two weeks but might clear if the weather cools/dries. I doubt it will be any good by the weekend but who knows? Check the regs closely barbless single-point hooks with specific gap restrictions etc. The only ones I've seen "fishing" lately are Yakamas standing on platforms down in Wapato. Good Luck!

I found Rosa in my Gazetter map book but no dam labeled. I'm guessing it's just a diversion dam near there. Last year I saw salmon jumping all the way up to Easton. Sounds like I'll just bring a small rod for the ponds with the river conditions & long drive south. Thanx for the info. <^))Xx<

We will be lucky if it comes back in before it closes the 16th of June. Boy it was good before it went out.......both times laugh
Roza is much bigger than a diversion dam. wink
