Is there anything going on in the Hoh? I am taking a visit out to Forks this weekend and wondering how the fishing has been? Are the summer run steelhead showing up yet? What about the springers? Any fishing info would be great. cool
Thanks
Devine

Devine, I too will be fishing the Hoh this weekend. I went a week or so ago, and did hook 1 steelie. Didn't see any springers rolling however.

Thanks Big Jim. I am going to be all over the hoh this weekend. If you see a guy with a German Shepard and a Welsh Corgi that will be me. These dogs are a handful but can't just leave them at home and allow myself to have all the fun. Hopefully I will see you up there. Good luck and nail em' dead.

devine, don't know if this pertains to the Hoh or other rivers. I was parked on the upper Queets with knowone around and out popped a enforcement (didn't notice what kind just saw a badge) and he told me to put my dog on a leash. Talked a while he said that drift boaters are not allowed to take there dogs with them when they're going down the river. I didn't argue, I just left. Jim

Duck,

I'm pretty sure that would have been a National Park Service Ranger, as dogs are not generally allowed in the park at all, and if they are, they must be leashed. Outside the park shouldn't be a problem...

Fish on...

Todd.
