I am headed over to the Sol Duc to do some fishing/camping this weekend. Is the river in fairly good shape right now?

Except for the deeper holes, you can count every rock on the bottom!!!!!

Fished up at the hatchery Tuesday. She's running low but was holding some color with the hotter weather. Found a few springers rolling and we managed to hook up with about nine, but put nothing on the bank. Man those springers are strong!

Thanks for the information that is exactly where we are headed this weekend to go camping so it is nice to know there are some fiiiishies there.

Oh no ... here's another "secret" that will ruin the Peninsula

Try the Tumbling Rapids Campground operated by Rayonier between the two bridges just south of the town of Sappho or another option might be Klahowya Campground a few miles north on 101. Other options would be Mora near the Quillayute mouth, or Bogachiel State Park to the south of town.

I stayed at the Tumbling Rapids Campground this weekend and there was a graduation party going on. There was a live band playing until about 2:00 in the morning.

My wife kept repeating one of the camp rules to me over and over again.

NO DISTURBANCES AFTER 9:00 P.M.

This is the first time I have stayed at this campground; hopefully it is normally quieter.
