I haven't been on the Hoh for quite awhile. Cottonwood always was a bit of a mess... The Bar at Nolan Creek was easily accessable with four wheel drive last time I was there... So a nice drift is Oxbow to Nolan Creek.

The Cottonwood launch is no longer an option. the river has changed course and you can no longer drive on to the bar. Another place to take out is a Barlows. Its on the north side of the river about 5 miles or so past the turn off to the cottonwood. You can't miss it as it is just a little ways on your left right after the road comes back down next to the river. I believe there is a mail box there to pay a user fee. The take out there is about 2 miles down river from nolans bar.

You can always put in at Oxbow and take out at Barlow. It's a marathon drift, but blow through the first few miles and concentrate on the bottom. I've done it a couple times.
