Anybody fish it for Silvers? I've hunted ducks there alot and have seen loads of Silvers in the rivers,and am wondering when the fishing gets good? Thanks.

The north end of Hood Canal doesn't open until Sept. 1st but Quilcene Bay opens I believe the 15th or 16th of August. Usually the silvers are in pretty thick by late August but years back I have had good Julys for both silvers and kings. Haven't fished the south end bofore though and that's the only area open right now.

Hey thanks...My wife pitched the regs...she said I should have em' memorized by know. laugh I looked on the WDFW website but couldn't find info on N. Hood Canal.
