Which river would you drift tommorrow? and what stretch? Got a good ole boy from Tennessee visiting thats itchin' to go fishin' and would really like to hook him into fish.

Well....if you have the whole day may as well drift the Cowlitz from Barrier down to BC. If you don't have your limits, then continue on to Mission. I personally haven't been on the river, but first hand reports from friends and various boards indicate the catching has been extremely good.

I was on the Cowlitz yesterday as the river was dropping eek .Every drift we made by B.C. there was a fish on somewhere. We had more than enough fish come off due to the high jump and rolls to keep it fun. We all left with are fish. laugh . As we were leaving you could see the fish stacking up.

Doggin is the way to go! wink

If you have a driftboat anchor above or below the stump along the wall. Those anchored boats are cooning em!

I have also noticed an increase in size last few trips. Most fish running 30 - 35". smile
