Ive got a OMC auxiliary motor bracket but the lifting shock is toast. Does anyone know if it can be repaired or replaced. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

You can buy a new lifting ram for 125 dollars or more now the whole bracket is around 450 dollars I think .. Had the same problem a year or so ago.. the ram lasted about two weeks ended up buying the whole bracket ..

runner, there are 2 different sizes for the cylinder (weight rating)I believe it is 80pounds and 125 pounds don't remember for sure, make sure you order the right one. I ordered a new one and had to have it drilled where the pins go through to hold it in place (it was the right cylinder according to the weight rating but did not fit). Had it drilled at 3 Rivers Marine but there was not enough meat to drill. The guys there rounded up another one for me and it has been going strong ever since, they are great. Good luck
