does he still guide around here, cant find anything on the net about him, my rich aunt uncle from california want to go out on a charter. any thoughts on how to find his guide service would be helpful. thanks Ben

Last I heard, he was still living in Ollala. He's been into the project to find and remove derelict nets from Hood Canal, but may still do some guiding. Check phone book for "Dale Thoemke" or search for "Dr. T-HO-KE" on www.

Last thing I heard about him was he was one of the guys in charge of Hood Canal inhancement group. That is all I know. I believe he is still guiding.

I know he took his big boat to Sekiu last summer and worked there. I think he takes up to two clients out in his little boat (12 ft livingston) occaisionally. He only runs the little boat in Puget Sound.
He does live in Olalla and I don't have contact info.
