Trying one more time.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. We threw some traps off the pier in the eve before going salmon fishing. Didn't get anything close to keeping.

If you're dragging a boat over the pass you might as well hit Seabeck or Quartermaster Harbor for crab. If you're chasing salmon then Westport is the place to be for now.

I put some pots off the docks Saturday night. Unfortunately I missed the incoming tide and had to leave early Sunday before the incoming tide again. I did get a few keepers though. I saw a lot of others with coolers full who were able to get the tides right. I'm hopin' to get out there again soon and do it right!

By the way, how did you do? And were you salmon fishing too?

was out in the marina this past weekend, caught 60 or so sea bass in about 3 hours. saw several people on the docks checking their pots, saw quite a few keepers. i prefer to go just a little further south to tokeland, we usually slay 'em there, it's only another 20 minutes or so from westport..
