One question...what resolution are you running. I am running 800 x 600 and the scroll across bar is running...but I can see the whole page width wise so I guess it is no big deal.

Bob, Nice work indeed. I personally like the performance upgdates you made by modifying the practical extraction. The pages load alot faster now than before.

Sparkster, I'd say it's about time you think about upgrading your computing equipment. Most web pages and sites are not designed for such a whimpy monitor resolution.

Not Bob's problem you can't/don't run your monitor at something "normal" like 1280x1024 or higher.

I like the new look Bob. When are you going to activate the avatar feature? The speed of your site has never been an issue for me! I say we continue to bog it down it with more crap...like avatars!

You ask and you shall receive

Avatars up and running! Default size is 125x125 pixels, so try to make your fishey pictures that size or they will distort!

If you have a slow connection, and avatars bog things down, you can go to "Profile" and set it so that they are NOT displayed for you ... this will speed things up if needed.

Now we can see everyone's faces ... you can upload these pix to the gallery and then call on the addy in the avatar window in your profile.

Sparkey, I made the table size a fraction smaller ... hopefully that works. I'd like to assume eveyone is running at least 800 pixels wide these days

Since there will likely be a bunch of questions on avatars and I'm headed on vacation ... I'd like to nominate Parker as the Avatar answer man while I'm away :p :p

A little history about my image: Taken after the second day of fishing a southwest Washington river last October.This day started early and ended late, LOTS of coho. A few nooks and a couple shots [?] of tequila, dinner, a couple more shots and I got tired, took a short nap while Reiterrat poked at my glasses with a rod tip[out of arms reach---smart boy!].

Ok, so I loaded an image 125x125pixels in the for bb use section, however if I copy the link and paste it in for the avitar link in my profile, it doesn't load and all I get in the avitar image is a broken link symbol. What am I doing wrong? All you guys have these cool avitar pics!

Looks like it works now ... remember everyone, simply upload your pic then insert the URL for that picture in the box of the avatar page ... then hit the button that says "select this avatar". That's it.

All URL's will ALWAYS look like the address posted above, it will simply be a different number than that one!
