Judging from today's fish and fisherman count, from the weekend, in the Seattle Times I would say Seiku.

I just got a great report from a friend that did real good at Meadow Pt. today. Just troll cut plug herring fairly fast with 4 ounce sinker and put out about 50 pulls of line. smile smile

Are we getting any size to these Silvers yet?

I will be heading toward the north sound on Saturday...... Usually fish West Point and Meadows for silvers, but lately they have been little guys not worth the trip. Thought I might head up to Everrett and points north.

Any thoughts or info would be great!

I personally would stick to points around the south end of Admiralty inlet. This would be possession, point no point, Jeff Head, edmonds, shipwreck, etc.
That is the first place they will show up, and we all know they have been taking their sweet time this year.

I assume that all of the snohomish river system silvers go around the south end of Whidbey to get to the mouth. I could be wrong.

Plus in these areas you have a shot at catching any fish milling around in the open water south of Whidbey that is migrating to any other river systems in the south sound.

So who all is fishing the Edmonds derby this weekend?? We will have three boats out there to give you all a run for the money.

Possession was good this morning using a green/white hootchie w/ white dodger and herring strip. Lots of fish and lots of bait. Fish are between 3-7 lbs and getting bigger by the day. Find the tide rips and bait and you will definitely find silvers.

Meadow Point was red hot for my boat Wednesday. Two nice 6-7 pounders and two smaller 3-4 pounders. Off the water by 9am. Full report over at WashingtonLakes.com.

hi mike, let met take a wild guess, the 6to7 pounders were females and the 3to4's were males, at leat thats what i've been running in to we've been dooing pretty good, for those interested try a small o/o sep's flasher with the green prissim so far that been my hot ticket with a herring helmet speed about 1.8. herring roll more importanr than speed, get good action and 3.0 is not nessary the males seem to be running smaller?
