For those that didn't see the original post..

Many people have stayed with Bill and Peggy Deal of Deal's Den Bed and Breakfast. They have a wonderful bed and breakfast in Kasilof,
Alaska and have been hosts to many guests from all over.
Their place overlooks a bluff with a beautiful view.
With the season ending, Bill was working on the bluff to attempt to prevent erosion. He lost his footing and tumbled head first to the beach below.
I want to be very accurate in what I say, so I will be brief and add more information soon.
He regained some feeling in his arms but cannot grip. His right leg is not as strong as the left.
Today he stood for the first time and will be undergoing physical therapy.

sheesh, thats horrible, so is the erosion gonna cause the place to tumble into the sea? or does it have awhile before it goes..keep us tuned..

The answer to that is NO and I didn't mean to give that impression. As a matter of fact, several years the place next door was for sale and we have been kicking ourselves ever since that we didn't buy it. I think we'd call it preventive maintenance for the winter. Another B and B owner on another board mentioned last week that they were working on bushes and trees.
Their place is also situated way back from the
edge.
