HOW TO YOU GET YOUR PICTURE TO GET DISPLAYED ON YOUR POST??? IM TOTALLY STUMPED

Check out the topic "whoa, someone got fancy!! " on page 4. Bob gave instructions there.

1. Upload your picture to the VISITORS PHOTO GALLERY. The pictures gotta be smaller than 1 MB. Photo editing software may be necessary.
2. Once the picture is uploaded make note of the pictures URL. The URL of the picture should be something like www.piscatorialpursuits.com/uploads/UP####.jpg.
3. When you make a post hit the IMAGE buttom below and type in the info above.

Note: If you have WIN XP you can right click on the image, after you upload it, and highlight COPY IMAGE LOCATION then PASTE the image location to the script then you will not have to do all the typing.

Ok I just tried that all, I get on my "UPDATED" profile is a box with an "X" in it ???? What did and, where did I go wrong this is goina drive me into insanity [img] www.piscatorialpursuits.com/uploads/UP1318.jpg [/img] THIS IS WHAT I HAVE IN MY PROFILE THIS IS WHAT I WANT UNDER MY CALL NAME

I have that same problem. I not very computer smart. I rubbed my picture all over my screen but it wouldn't take. What am I doing wrong?

If you don't have all the necesary equipment how do you get things done on these things.
I have a scanner but not smart enough to hook it up. Maybe I will try again to do it.

I think I can help later tonight if you can't get it done......can you get it loaded into the visitor's gallery? Below are the set of directions that I follow and it works.
Enter your Picture to upload (jpg gif 100Kb Max.)

Below I think are the right directions:
You have your picture uploaded...

1. Click to view your large image.
2. Above the picture is the address bar. Highlight the bar and click on edit... hit copy and close the window.
3. Go to dialogue box (post reply) and type whatever....
4. Go below the main text box, by the graemlins, and click on the image tab to the right....in the text box that
comes up, RIGHT click hit paste and OK.
Do Not hit the image tab a second time!
5. Preview the post..your picture should be there.

Are you trying to make an AVATAR? If you are you will need to shrink that picture down a lot. It is way to big to be an AVATAR.

HOW???????? I TRIED TO DOWN SIZE THE PIC I MEAN I SHRUNK IT OK HERE IS WHAT I DID
1. RESIZED THE PIC
2. COPIED IT TO THE PIC LIBRARY
3. THEN WENT TO MY PROFILE
4. SELECTED MY AVATAR
5. PLACED IN THE PIC
6. SAVED IT
7. AND STILL NOTHING !!!!!

WHAT AM I NO DOING RIGHT???
AS I JUST EDITED THIS POST THAT LITTLE "X" IN THE BOX CAME UP SO ITS OBVIOUS IM ON THE RIGHT TRACK
