any of u peolpe out there headed to LaPush this weekend,and what do u expect it to be like?

I'm not heading there but my gramps told me that a 40' charter got ripped up on the north jedi recently so be careful.

Went the day before it closed for salmon. They weren't chewing the barbs off, but it was very good. 30-35# king brought in and released ( sniffle ), 2 other kings, nice silvers made the limits and a 20 minute fishing expedition on the Rockpile got us 4 lings in 5 drops. Biggest was betwixt 25 and 28 pounds. Smallest was 27 inches.....
I don't like killing lingcod needlessly, so we let the 4th one go ( about 18 pounds) and left just because we didn't want to damage any of them.

Expect it to be good... it sort of depends on the rain... I have a meeting in Seattle on Saturday, but I'm going to try and make it to LaPush on Sunday... if not, I'll be there the next weekend.

The boat that ended up on the jetty at Rialto was a 42ft boat called the Seahawk, out of Edmonds. Not sure what happened, but I'm told it was very foggy last Wednesday, the day it happened. No one was hurt, so that's good. Be careful out there.

Ray, Mike and I will be there as you know, and hope to see or hear from some others on this board. We will be monitering 16 and the usuall 68 talk channel. Just call for FishNg1, its good to have others for assistance or vice versa.
