Fishing for recent reports. Are the fishing showing up in bigger #'s and weight yet. I feel out of the loop for the last two weeks I've been slave to buying a new home and had not had a chance to get n the water. frown Might MAKE sometime if fishing is good...or not. Any help would be great! (by the way that includes moving wink See ya on the water!

this weekend the weather is supposed to be in the 70's and with the Everett Derby there will be a lot of boats out there. Each week the fish have been getting bigger, but not everyone is getting fish, although if you read the creel reports the %'ages are going up. I know I don't want to pass this weekend up....

In the water at 6am today and out by 11am with 5 of our 6 fish limit off of West Point. Short bite, but when it was on it was really on. Lost a few and caught a few blackmouth, but all in all it was a good day.
Checker at Shilshole said that there were 64 fish for 23 boats.
Far better average than recently.

Today was the best day of the week - I've been out every day this past week and have had to fight the weather and cover a lot of water to get some fish. My biggest was 12 lb.

Today was different. Started fishing at 7:00 am and had 6 fish and all our limits by 8:00!

We had two in the boat 10 lbs, two at 8 - 8.5 and two and 6.

Bad thing about a day like today - what do with the rest of my day!

Dawn Treader - I like your moniker btw, your 'problem' is one in which many of the fisherpersons on this board would love to have. What were you using today? I am headed out on Monday.

On Friday, I was using a green glow hotspot with a blue and white Grand Slam Bucktail in the small size. It was responsible for three of the five. The other was taken on a green hotspot and a glow white and blue hootchie. fish were caught at 45ft for two of them, other three were at 56, 75, and 90.

Saturday we faired worse with only two fish. 1-12# and 1-9#. Both taken on green hotspot with large white and green Grand Slam Bucktail.

I am saddened to report the loss of both of my favorite lures this past weekend. They fought valiantly to the end but at last succumed to the ravages of the wild Coho. They will be greatly missed........

Now, where did I get those Bucktails again???
