You're right chums are a blast. Although I think catching them fresh in a fast moving river is the most exhilarating, I'm becoming more intriqued with the idea of float tubin' it to make it a little more exciting in the salt. Seems like a good way to stay in the zone without catching an elbow in the gut or a flying treble from your fellow "sportsman". A heck of a lot more comfortable too, when you're sitting down all day. I'd love to hear from anyone else who has fished this way and been towed around the canal by a mad dog.
