May be coming up to Washington next month, and the only time I will be able to make it out is from dusk till dawn.

Over here in Chicago, glow in the dark spoons and lures work great on Lake Michigan salmon at night. Was wondering if the same held true for the salmon up there.

Thanks in advance, and I gotta say, this is a great site smile

I've caught a handful of salmon on glow spoons, but the guy i got them from quit buying them so haven't used em for a year or so. I did better during the day running glow spoons in those deep holes.

I've been told that Lk. Michigan limits surpass WA. meager limits. Unless you have to be here I would guess you're in a better spot than we.

Spoons are popular here, coyote spoons especially, flies and numerous hoochies (squids). Most are towed behind a flasher on downriggers. Glow in the dark are avail. in all these offerings. Good Luck.

When I used to live in the Great Lakes area (Michigan) we used glow in the dark spoons alot, particularly off the breakwaters and jetties. They worked great. Out here, glow in the dark spoons are difficult to find so I haven't had much chance to use them. I suspect they would work equally as well, particularly early in the morning.
