Hit the green on Friday, saw alot of fish caught, I got mine #6 and #8. Spinners were not the ticket eggs where, the fresher the better. Hitting it again tomorrow. On the outgoing is best. Don't do the weekend thing on the green, don't really like combat fishing.

Also saw the Indians pull a net on Friday, it was loaded. The run is here, the bigger ones are to come.

Excellent!! Your report is one of many good ones I have heard this weekend. That shot of rain on Thursday must have done the trick. cool

Do you guys reccomend drifting the eggs or fishing them under a float?

I fished in Allentown today and all the fish that were caught was on eggs; spinner and spoons was'nt really happening on the out going tide. I prefer drifting eggs.

Drifting eggs at LOW TIDE is best on the Green.

Yes, you can bank it. The lower Green is full of bank access, actually the whole river has a lot of bank access. From the bank, drifting eggs at low tide, down by Boeing, is best.

All true, just remember on the weekends the Boeing and Allentown areas are combat fishing. Its best to go during the week if possible.

The best times to fish the lower Green are when the nets are not in the river, Sat. and Sun. There should be a good amount of fish in the middle (downstream from S. 277th) of the river now. They net all the way up to Pacific Hwy. right now.

my friend and I were on the Green as well. I cant say much since it was my first time salmon fishing...got to say I'm hooked!! laugh

Saw a mess o fish jumpin but no one hookin em - that was Saturday. Sunday was less encouraging...only saw 2 fish in the time we were there.

Moved out to the Carbon, overheard a homeowner on the bank sayin he hadn't seen anyone hook up for a couple weeks now...I hope not - I live closer to that river and was all excited I could try my novice luck out there.

Anyone got any tips for this greenie?

Patience! my friend. Start investing some time and you will start catching silvers on the Green.
