Fished West Point last weekend and caught one 10# that hit a blue pirate hotshot. Also had another fish (presumably big) slam a Mag Wort an hour earlier and snap off a 20# leader. Both lures were fished behind a small deep diver six so they were in the top 30 feet of water. Had some smaller fish hit a hootchie behind a hotspot flasher. If I go out this weekend, I'm going to start with plugs. JMS

Easy, Yes. I was rigging up the usual hotspot flasher with hootchie while my buddy put a mag wart out. I looked at him kind of funny, but didn't say anything. Turns out he had the winning ticket for the bigger fish we boated. JMS

Yes, although all shakers. At least they were fish. Even used it on Lake Washington trolling for Silvers and guess what I caught! A perch. Yep, had the size 1/0 trebble in its wide open mouth! Might try for some chum that way though.

6 silvers? Great job, Deckhand!
I have some friends coming in from Chicago next weekend and need to catch a few. Were you using anything out of the ordinary or was it hootchies, spoons and herring? How deep was the water where you were catching them?
Thanks in advance!
