I have the 30 and I really liked the reel.
I use braided line on it so I can get over 100 yard of Powere pro so it is a good size.
If you plan on using mono I think your better off with the next size up. Also you might wanna look at the new Metaloid (step up from the Epixor, I think) It looks really nice.
For the money these reel are fine. I also think it has a better drag on it then my stradic.

I know others have had problems with the foldable handle but mine is still in tact. I did get an extra handle from Okuma just in case. It was free. I believe the new ones have the stadard handle.

I have a Metaloid MD30 the size is fine for steelies, I just do not like the weight of the Metaloid.
Okuma is a good reel for the price though.

I bought a Spheros 3000 and like it much better though.

The Metaloid holds 170yds of 8# test, which is fine for me.(only steelie fished with it though) with n/p

Can't go wrong with Okuma IMO, the drags are good. A great reel for the price!!

I just got a new Metaloid 30, haven't fished it yet, but it seems real smooth, and they told me they have fixed the handle problem and the reels in the store now should all have the new handle design.

Deep_Sea Hunter:

Bought the Epixor EFS 30(high speed 6:3 to 1), from Gofishin.com. Was free shipping but see they have knocked that off. Reel, would be good for jacks, silvers, steelhead and even kings, if you have a boat. Has 2 aluminum spools, have to keep the box, parts list is printed on the "folds of the box".....
The reel is VERY smooth!!!
