I plan on making a few trips down there between now and the end of the month. Traditionally, how is it till the end of Oct. Is it over by then. The silvers should be in there pretty good I would think. I plan on fishing below the snag fest at the creek mouth.

There are alot of silvers in there now....traditionally small on the carbon, and even a few winter run steelies should start to show....but those are catch and release only.

Isn't it a little early for steelhead? When do the chum start showing up?

Chum hit Carbon by the millions(???) in November. They are very easy to catch, but it is C&R (catch and release) ONLY!! Lots of fun! :p

Fish are in the CARBON allright, so are about a couple hundred fools standing in the middle of the drift. It will never stop! Every little hike I take anywhere on the system there are these wanna be's trying to floss the fish with seven foot leaders! Worse yet they bring more people down everyday bragging they know how to catch fish. Maybe they should stick with golf.......
