They counted those ballots 3 times and all 3 times Pres Bush won. It shouldn't have even been an issue except people on the left started coming out of the woodwork saying "I didn't vote for who I meant to" or "The ballots were confusing". Sorry if you filled out your ballot wrong the time to correct it is before the ballots are turned in. If the balot is confusing ask what is going on.
To answer your question Yes I do believe that there needs to be some balance in government, but in this state there isn't any. The Democrats have way too much power. I am not narrow minded. I try to look at the whole issue and decide what/who is the best. Honestly Elen Craswell as a Republican governor scared me and caused me to vote for Gov Locke. At the time he seemed to be the best choice. I don't have a problem with middle of the road politicians. The problem is that the democratic party as a whole has moved so far left that they have abandoned the common sense, and continually try to turn our free-enterprise system into a socialist state.

First of all I am not forcing my bleiefs on anyone. You have a choice to read or not to read this type of post. If you choose to click that button then be aware that there may be some ideas that you don't care for. Simple as that.
Second I respect ideas and what others have to say, but if I have a different idea, or a counter point to make I will. I don't claim to be all knowing or even right all of the time. Surecatch brought up an issue I wasn't aware of, now I am going to take the time to find out a little more about it, and let the powers that be know how I feel. Dan and Aunty M had things to say, some things I agreed with some I didn't. You obviously don't have any ideas, oposing views points or anything to say other than "You are wrong!!!". Come on back when you have a point to make, or ideas to exchange.

Vic I have seen guy's like you that yell and point fingers all my life and one thing that I have noticed is that the noice you make drown out the sounds of truth and logic. I consider myself and independent when it comes to politics, that way I don't have to conform to a good old boys club where everyone else not in the club( Republican Democrat) is assumed not to be honest, caring and responsible. I will vote for the person that I think is most qualified no matter which party he is affiliated with. All we have been saying is take a look at whats wrong and be willing to make a difference in changing it without reserve for one party or another. :p
