So where is everyone catching the fish?
Want to head out this Sunday and seeking reports on any Chum schools you mid-week die-hards have seen.
Whats the word?
Will fish north or south sound.
Thanks, Sky guy

Sky,
Don't know about the rivers, but there are fish in the South Sound. I have seen a few small schools jumping off Green Pt and heard of a couple caught of Gibson on Fox Island. Going on a exploratory run Sunday with the fly rod. Hope this weekend's rain bring more fish in.

Negative on chums where I'm fishing. Need rain.

I think I saw, somewhere in this Forum, that there are a lot of silvers holding up just off Kayak Pt. S.P. There are also a ton of silvers in the Green River, if you don't mind fishing with everyone in south King County.

About all I've heard lately (besides alot of whining) is, as EL mentioned, Kayak Pt. for silvers though a high % are belly hooked on Buzz Bombs or Darts. Shipwreck and Possession have slowed considerably, a few guys seem to have figured out how to get Snohomish river fish to bite but most are struggling. Wish I had better news. Good luck.

Question spawn... Don't silvers get black and dogs get those great tiger stripes?

Chum are being caught around Gig Harbor. Friend limited Sat and Sun. I only got one today. I should have fished deeper. 40-60' down in 80-150' of water was the ticket. The commercial boats are staged and ready to go in though. Probably won't be any left by next weekend!

Thanks for report ET. We fished out and around Possession to Jefferson Head today, when we could briefly see through the fog and tell where we were. Then went due east to fish within visibility of shoreline back to launch. Water as flat as ___ , saw several individual chums jumping only while running. They seemed to get exicited as the boat approached them and jump... one I [Bleeeeep!] you not came about 2-3ft. from landing into the bow. Lotsa bait out there, lotsa shakers, but Brother and I had an 0-fer.

cr'd one in the duc on sat. thought i hooked into a dandy coho until i saw a dark flash. then i thought oh well it's colored. then it came in close and i saw them vertical stripes. big 'ol humped-back tiger with teeth growing out of its nostrils. was a decent fight on medium spinning tackle though.

Went out tonight after work and got skunked. The ten commercial boats pulling nets around Gig Harbor just may of had a little to do with it.... It pisses me off every year to read about the "big" chum runs that are coming in and then never getting much of a chance to catch them.

Already posted on another message, but here it is again:
Caught 3 10 lb'ers Saturday morning on the west side of Possession. All hit at tide change, fishing 40-60 ft deep in 300 ft of water. Green hootchies and herring were the bait of choice. They were jumping like crazy.
Shakers were thick in shallower water, and the dogfish were everywhere.
