My son will be coming home mid Nov. through Dec. 4th,,, I was wondering if the chums will be in the green by then, and if so where are they at, and what will they hit on. I'd appreciate any help he's dieing to go fishing!!

I'm rather new here but you'll be seeing me around!

There will be plenty of chums in the river then. They won't be much good for eating but they're a blast. Some places I'd reccomend are Metzler Park, Flaming Geyser park, or possibly down by the highway 18 bridge. My favorite setup for these, adn the won I believe is most productive is a float and jig. The color of the jig is cerise marabou with a cerise jighead. (cerise is kind of like a dark pink or light purple.) The reason I like this setup is because it eliminates the chance of foul hooking a fish. If you're looking for some good jigs I reccomend www.silentapproach.com Order some from Roger and you will not be dissapointed.

1/4 ounce has always worked great. Just e-mail Roger, you'll see the link on his site and he will help you out. Otherwise find some marabou jigs that are either 1/4 or 1/8, cerise or a dark pink, and go at it. These fish are a blast to catch because it's not too difficult. Just don't plan on keeping any, unless you like dog food.

A lot of people don't realize the great chum run the Green gets. It is awesome! It can be like Hood Canal in your back yard.
