I was wondering if anyone has had these boats out in more open water, and how they handle chop, etc. I hear they handle rivers really well, but I want to be able to hit the Sound now and then. Also, does anybody remember Thorbuilt's website? I did a search on the board and on Google and can't find it. Thanks.

I run mine out the Tillamook jaws and out in the Columbia. The 10 degree entry helps a lot. If there is going to be big chop, and you have a wind, the passengers may get wet. But no one can complain about the upside of the amount of fishing area, stability and handling. I've seen no one turn down a trip because of some spray.

Thanks guys. Tilla- Is it 10 degree all the way back? Or 10 degree at the stern and more up front? I don't mind a littl spray, just like to keep my fillings in my teeth. wink
