I see a few guys up there. I drive through there after playing golf down at Sno falls GC. There are a few guys fishing. I saw one of them carrying a real dark and skanky summer run out. I think we have several more weeks before the winter runs start livening things up again.

I was there a week ago with my son. He was shooting some video scenes of the falls for the Travel Channel; we weren't fishing. A fly-fisherman was there. He walked out without catching anything. Then another fisherman showed up and started casting jigs. We watched him for 15 minutes, ready to film the fight if he hooked one. It didn't happen. He said the fish he had seen caught recently were getting dark. Wasn't much water coming over the falls that day.

I fished the upper part of the river below the falls Tuesday. No fish for 6 hours effort. Saw a couple spawned out kings that were rotting but no steelies. I would think we are around a month away from much happening still. We need some rain in a very bad way. The river is unbelievably low.
