Hi guys,
A new member here looking for info on the Squamish River as far as when and where to go to fish for Chum Salmon? I have heard this river has a good run of Chums, but never been there before. Can anyone help me out? Will I have to have chest waders or would hip boots work ok? Is it a big river? Can I flyfish it?

Can't help you much with the run timing there, but from the times I've driven past it on the way to Whistler, it seems to be a decent sized stream. Probably quite close to the size of the Sandy as I recall.
