Anyone else heading up to Sekiu for the opener? Should we even try for some late silvers or concentrate on blackmouth? I've heard differing opinions. Some say there are still some massive silvers coming through while another respected fisherman told me not to waste my time. He suggests mid-channel for blackmouth on Friday.

Tough choice... I think the Silvers would be a tough game- sluggish. I would probably head to Mid Channel for the BM if the weather is favorable... MCB holds big BM in November!

On the other hand, the South Sound is fishing great right now too... Hordes of bait around Fox Island.
