Forgive the ignorance, but what is the blackmouth season on the Sound over the next 12 months (open v. closed)?

What area of the Sound are you fishing?

I fish areas 8-1, 8-2, 9, 10 (North Sound).

8-1/2 openTODAY 11/1

Man I am fired up. Cleaned out all my tackle boxes got my reels there 3000 fish tune ups, new line and washed all my tackle. Fishin season starts today!!!

8-1/2 are open 11/1 thru 11/30 Then opens again Feb1. Check the regs though because the two are season slightly vary this year. I hope it's as good as last year. Didn't miss one weekend and brought probably 12 to the boat everytime we went out! Nothin better than being out on the water freezin your A$$ of and slayin the blackmouth. Good times!

Interesting, I never did that well last year. Historically I have always done well at PnP, JeffHead, DblBluff, Racetrack, Pssn, Kingston, etc... Maybe this year will be better. Thanks for the info, but man will it be cold out there.
