yes, i've heard of barker dirft boats. i've not heard of one that new. as far as i know they were made in woodland (i think) in 1994 me and two of my highschool buddies bought a barker drift boat from a guy way up on the lewis river (who i think worked at a hatchery there) we got the boat, trailer, and all the accessories for $750. not to bad to split three ways. we used the boat for a year and a half until we graduated from high school, and then sold it to my dad. He still has the boat. it is a 14' boat, it's not a real wide boat. i think it was made in 1976 or maybe 1972 not real sure. you said yours was all Glass, this one is a wood boat but, has a glass with gelcoat on the outside of the boat.
i really enjoyed the boat, the funny part was none of us new how to row (and i still am pretty pathetic) but, we managed to get down the Kalama quite a few times with out ever dumping it.
i have a lot of respect for the boat, and was fairly well built for that kind of boat. My father has since redone most of the boat and still uses it two or three times a year for winter steelhead (most of the time he's fishing off the bank or in the columbia in one of his other boats) so it doesn't get much use, but he likes it too much to ever sell it, so it keeps its place in the garage.
i think they are Classy boats, and you should enjoy it. i know this post doesn't have a whole lot of information but, i haven't ever heard of anyone else who's owned one so i thought i'd share my experience with you.
Have fun with the boat, the Barker sure brings back some memories.
Chum.
