It's really great to see the Coug's rated so high. I have really been rooting for them. The higher they get the harder they will FALL when the Dogs head over to the Pu-lose.

You know they are going to Coug-it. They always do.

Go Dogs!

Even if you dip Roses in Cow $hit it still smells like Cow $hit :p

Hey Dinker.......

The Bears kicked the Dawgs, the Wolverines kicked the Dawgs, the Toejams kicked the Dawgs, and the Scum Devils kicked the Dawgs.

BUT

The Cougs haven't kicked Dawg for 4 years straight. And with all the big heads in Pullman, it might just turn out to be 5 straight.

What a shame that would be........

It's a shame to see the Cougs live vicariously through other teams like that. rolleyes

I chalk it up to a weak PAC Ten this year. That and El Nino. Wasn't the last El Nino when the Cougs went to the Rose bowl for the first time in forever? It does seem, though, that since they've cracked down on drinking at WSU the team has become better.

It must be the weather? As soon as the rains came all the fair-weather Dog fans disappeared. Rick should spend less time trying to bend the rules and more time coaching. With all that talent and money, just think what the Cougar coaching staff could do…………..GO COUGS!

A classic case of fetal alcohol syndrom. The poor kid will only qualify for WSU. He will either graduate with a business degree and move west of the mountains to where McDonalds are plentiful or an arts degree and a small role in Jackass II. Growing old and gray many years from now remembering that year when the Cougs were ranked. That year when it meant something to be a Coug. That year when he didn't have to hide it.
Oh why oh why couldn't that have been the year, just once, when they didn't have to coug it.

Enjoy it Cougs, much like the Beavers are rapidly realizing this year, it will be back to obscurity next year for you. The phrase "Coug'ing it" is not new, neither is your expectations for disappointment. First back to back winning seasons in 14 years. We all know what that means. Let another Coug dry spell begin.

The real beauty here is nothing is sewn up yet for your little ladies. There is still plenty of time to Coug it this year. Every Coug I know is very nervous. Just wait until the Dawgs beat the crap out of the Ducks and go into the Apple Cup with two reasons to win, a bowl birth and the ability to knock you out of the BCS.

I realize this ranking is unchartered territory for you guys and don't expect you to know how to handle it properly. The real music is played in January. Us Dawgs all know what that sounds like!!

The only bowl the dogs are going to this year is MAYBE the Seattle bowl which really isn't much different than the tidy bowl. eek

A spell-checking Coug. laugh

That kid was leading the cheer when Onterrio Smith went down to injury. eek His folks must be so proud.

I like how the rabid Coug fan population has grown from about 6 in 2000, to 60,000 today. The bandwagon's getting loaded, it's a little top-heavy, and it's about to roll over.

Just gotta love them Cougars.

Who wouldn't root for a team with players from the Olympic Peninsula like Pat Bennett (Forks) and Kyle Basler (Elma)?

Can't wait to watch the Ducks and Huskies resume their rivalry. fight
