I've got a family dinner and they're going to be earlier than I thought. As a matter of fact, in about 30 minutes. What is the best way to quickly thaw frozen fish?

Fastest way to thaw is in warm water....preferably running warm water.

the way i thaw fish is to put the frozen fish in cold water either in a bowl or the sink depending on how much fish i had.i would never use warm water that would make them get mushy and pretty much useless use the extra time it takes to thaw and have a few more drinks with the company it will be worth the wait later,Bruce

i vacuum seal my fillets and running them under warm water to unthaw doesn't seem to make them as mushy as opposed to unsealed fish
